TAEDA’s Presentation at HSC 2025 on the Threat of Tren de Aragua

During the 10th Hemispheric Security Conference (HSC 2025), co-organized by Fundación TAEDA and Florida International University (FIU), a panel was held to analyze the growing threat posed by Tren de Aragua across the Americas.

The panel, moderated by Yanina Kogan, Director of our Foundation, featured experts such as Douglas Farah, transnational crime advisor at TAEDA, and Pablo Zeballos, who presented a study titled “Tren de Aragua: Expansion, Structure and Methodologies. The Case of Chile and Regional Implications.” Eduardo Gamarra and Myah Havertong also contributed their insights to the discussion.

The experts addressed the recent designation of Tren de Aragua as a terrorist organization by the United States government and discussed the implications of this measure for regional security.
