Under the theme “Securing the Future of the Americas,” the event brought together over 80 high-level experts, including government officials, military leaders, academics, and private sector representatives, to address the most pressing security challenges currently facing the Western Hemisphere.

Key topics included economic and national security, port security, critical minerals, cybersecurity, the growing importance of space, environmental security, Antarctica, the influence of extra-regional actors, and transnational organized crime.
Notable figures such as Admiral Alvin Holsey, Commander of U.S. Southern Command; Luis Petri, Argentina’s Minister of Defense; and José Ramón Icaza, Panama’s Minister for Canal Affairs, took part in the event, sharing insights on Chinese and Russian influence, transnational organized crime, and emerging technologies.
